STEM

What is STEM?

STEM provides students with a cross-curricular integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. STEM focuses on interdisciplinary projects and outside study to blend advanced STEM-related coursework with real-world application.

How does PCA incorporate STEM?

From inquiry-based learning in the STEM garden to a two-year research project, PCA provides students Pre-K through 12th grade with advanced coursework blended with outside study. PCA focuses on allowing students the opportunity for innovative learning through original research and hands-on learning in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math. Ultimately, this program’s goal is to prepare students to use their STEM knowledge to glorify God and bring benefit to themselves and others.

As with everything we do, our STEM program is designed to produce followers of Christ who have an appreciation of science and the creative nature of God.
Superintendent,
Dr. Mike Goddard

The future possibilities of the PCA STEM Garden are endless. Our hope is that the Garden will inspire PCA students to enter STEM-related occupations and be used by God to share the love of Christ!
