Alumni Hall of Fame Moments
Julius Randle Jersey Retirement
On August 25, 2023, PCA honored Alumni Julius Randle by retiring his jersey. Julius is a Class of 2013 graduate.
While at PCA Julius became the school's AlI-Time Leading Scorer and All-Time Leading Rebounder. He was nominated as the 2013 McDonald's All-American his senior year. After high school, he continued his journey at Kentucky where he was named First Team All-SEC in 2014, SEC Rookie of the Year in 2014, and Third Team All-American in 2014. That same year he was drafted as the 7th Overall Pick in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Lakers. In 2021 he was named NBA Most Improved Player and AIl-NBA Second Team and NBA AlI Star in 2021 with the Lakers. He continued his NBA journey with the New Orleans Pelicans and is currently playing for the NY Knicks where he was named NBA All-Star in 2023 and All-NBA Third Team in 2023.
Coach Mike Hall Tribute
The Prestonwood Christian Academy and Alumni gathered on September 23, 2022, to honor former coach, Coach Mike Hall. Coach Hall made a huge impact in building the football programs at PCA into a football powerhouse, starting from scratch and then bringing home the first state championship to the Prestonwood community in 2005. But more than that, Coach Hall built a program that was not just about winning on the field, but about building men to be winners in life. Coach always had a Kingdom mindset when pouring into the Lion athletes and those who played for him can attest to that. The Hall family appreciates your attendance tonight in honoring Coach Hall. The Legacy of Coach Hall continues to live on through you, his players, in the life you live and the impact you make day in and day out.
