Coach Stoutmire has been coaching track since 1998 after graduating from LSU. While at LSU she ran track as a sprinter and won four team National Championships. Her coaching career began at her high school alma mater in Long Beach, CA and helped the girls team win two CIF State Titles. In 2008, Stoutmire formed a youth track club and in 2011 began coaching at PCA where she has enjoyed helping students reach their goals by earning collegiate track scholarships. Since beginning to coach at PCA her teams have broken over 20 school records, won eight TAPPS State Individual champion titles, and three TAPPS State relay champion titles. In the past six years the Lions have had over 15 All TAPPS State finalist in individual events and 12 All TAPPS State finalist in relays. Coach Stoutmire and her team has helped PCA student athletes gain exposure and earn track scholarships to Division I schools, including Texas A&M University, Baylor University, Rice University, University of Tulsa, and Oklahoma Baptist University.
