Parent Engagement

Prestonwood Christian Academy is honored to partner with Christian parents in the journey to raise godly young men and women, who are grounded in biblical truth and walking in a manner worthy of their calling. Toward that end, we constantly look for opportunities to encourage parents in this grand endeavor and offer a variety of resources.

What does PCA offer parents?

Parenting seminars such as "Parent Perspective Panels" during which real-world parenting issues are addressed.
PCA produces a parenting podcast, The Journey, that covers a variety of relevant worldview-related topics.
Panetti's Parent Parcel - check out this special section in the weekly email, Minute with Mike, for parenting tips and resources.
Annual Biblical Worldview Conference (BWC) training sessions are offered in September for students and parents to hear some of the top thinkers on a variety of topics.

Parent Teacher Fellowship

Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) at Prestonwood Christian Academy is a volunteer organization created to enhance and support the relationship between families, faculty, and staff. PTF supports PCA by providing funds and volunteers for classroom, grade level, and schoolwide events. Everyone at PCA including parents, faculty, and staff are members of PTF and are encouraged to get involved by volunteering their time and talents.

Plano Sports Club

The Plano Sports Club members are champions of PCA Plano Athletics, supporting the student athletes, coaches and the athletic department at Prestonwood Christian Academy Plano. The PCA Plano Sports Club is comprised of sport-specific groups that carry forward our booster mission to the causes of each of the Prestonwood sports programs. Our mission is to facilitate communication among parents, alumni and friends, promote PCA Plano Athletes and its student athletes, and raise support for Lion Athletics.

Learning Lab

The Learning Lab Partners is comprised of parents and friends of the PCA Learning Lab, which assist students with learning differences. Volunteer opportunities include assisting the staff with parent meetings, fundraising and distributing communication to our families.
